Mysachar is a free Israeli income tax and salary calculator for tax year 2026. The most accurate, regulator-tracked calculator
This is the most accurate publicly-available Israeli salary calculator we know of, and we keep it that way deliberately:
- All constants come from primary sources. Tax brackets and credit points from the Israel Tax Authority (
gov.il/ רשות המסים). Bituach Leumi and health tax rates frombtl.gov.il. Minimum wage and Havra'a from Histadrut. Periphery list from the official Reshumot publication. Every constant in the engine cites its source. - Continuously updated. When the regulator publishes a change — annual rate adjustments, a new Hora'at Sha'a, an updated bracket schedule, a periphery-list amendment — the calculator's algorithms and constants are updated to match. Recent example: the §45A pension contribution credit (35% on up to ₪679/month) was added to the engine in May 2026 after we audited it against real Israeli payslips.
- Verified against real payslips. The engine output has been compared line-by-line against actual Israeli tlush maskoret (תלוש משכורת) issued by Michpal payroll. Pension, Keren Hishtalmut, Bituach Leumi and health tax in steady-state months match to the shekel. Quarterly income-tax totals match within 0.3%.
- Open methodology. The tax engine is a pure TypeScript function with full unit-test coverage (100+ tests). Every input transformation is auditable. There's no proprietary "black box" — if a number looks off, you can read the code that produced it.
How it's built
Static single-page app. No accounts, no servers — everything runs in your browser. The tax engine is in TypeScript with full unit-test coverage and is verified against real Israeli pay slips. UI in three languages: English, Russian, Hebrew (RTL). No tracking beyond essential analytics.

The settlement list (פריפריה / Section 11 settlements) follows the Reshumot publication of 14 January 2026, plus the 31 March 2026 amendment חוק הטבות מס ביישובים (תיקוני חקיקה) that added Ashkelon, Yondav, Bitron, Nof HaGalil, Kedem Arava, and applied the +7% Tkuma boost on Hevel HaTekuma settlements.
Limitations and known differences from your actual payslip
The calculator uses the simple monthly tax-bracket method, not the cumulative method (חישוב מצטבר) that Israeli payroll uses during the year. For steady-state months without bonuses, the difference is small.
